Hands-on Training on Data Science with Python Computer Science & Engineering 16.06.2026-19.06.2026
The training programme was designed to equip faculty members with a strong foundation in Data Science and Python, enabling them to apply data-driven techniques in teaching, research, and academic innovation. The sessions focused on developing practical skills in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning while introducing participants to the complete data science workflow.
Through hands-on exercises, participants gained proficiency in Python programming and industry-standard libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-Learn. The programme covered data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, visualization, and the implementation of basic machine learning models using real-world datasets, providing participants with practical experience in solving analytical problems.
The training successfully enhanced participants’ technical competencies and encouraged the integration of data science methodologies into research and classroom teaching. By combining theoretical concepts with practical applications, the programme strengthened faculty readiness to incorporate modern data science tools and techniques into academic and research activities.
