Hands-On IoT Fusion 2026 –From Sensors to Smart Systems Electrical Engineering 18-03-2026 to 20-03-2026
The “Hands-On IoT Fusion 2026 – From Sensors to Smart Systems” workshop, organized at Brainware University, was designed to provide students with practical exposure to the rapidly evolving domains of Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, and smart automation technologies.
The three-day workshop aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications through structured, hands-on learning. Participants were introduced to IoT architecture, microcontroller programming, and wireless communication systems using platforms such as NodeMCU (ESP8266) and Arduino IDE. They also gained experience in working with sensors like DHT11 and implementing real-time data communication using protocols including Wi-Fi, HTTP, and MQTT.
Through progressive sessions, students developed a comprehensive understanding of system integration—from basic concepts to building a complete Smart Room Monitoring System. The workshop emphasized practical skills such as sensor interfacing, cloud-based data monitoring, debugging, and automation logic.
Overall, the workshop proved to be highly enriching, enhancing students’ technical competencies and fostering innovation. It successfully empowered participants to transform theoretical knowledge into functional IoT-based solutions while encouraging them to explore future opportunities in smart technologies and automation.
