From Enterprise to Excellence: An Entrepreneurial Industrial Visit to Parle Products Pvt.

The industrial visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the manufacturing and operational processes of a leading FMCG company, enabling them to understand the practical application of entrepreneurial and managerial concepts in a real-world industrial environment. The visit offered valuable insights into production planning, quality assurance, packaging systems, inventory management, supply chain operations, and distribution channels. Through direct observation and interaction, students were able to connect their academic learning with contemporary industrial practices.
The programme enhanced students’ understanding of business management and entrepreneurship while strengthening their analytical, observational, and professional skills. The exposure to modern manufacturing processes and supply chain systems also helped students appreciate the role of industrial innovation and sustainable infrastructure. Overall, the visit provided a meaningful experiential learning opportunity and contributed to the objectives of SDG 9 by promoting awareness of innovation, efficient industrial practices, and sustainable development.
