Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences Billion Hearts Beating, Apollo Foundation 04-09-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences successfully organised a Free Health Checkup Camp in collaboration with Billion Hearts Beating and Apollo Foundation on 4 September 2026, at The Sandipani Global School & Day Care, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal.
The camp was conducted from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, with active participation from the BPA (Bachelor of Physician Assistant) students, who contributed to the smooth execution of the health screening activities.
A key activity of the camp was Blood Group Determination, providing participants with an opportunity to understand the importance of knowing their blood group and its relevance in emergency healthcare, transfusion requirements, and overall health preparedness. The activity also provided the students with valuable hands-on exposure to community-based healthcare practices.
