The Department of Allied Health Sciences stepped beyond the classroom and into the community with a meaningful mission – to care, connect, and create awareness.
At Narayantala East, VIP Road College More Bus Stop, near Baguiati, a Free Health Checkup Camp was organised in collaboration with the Lions’ Club of Calcutta Circular and the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS).
From interacting with patients and assisting in health assessments to working as a team under the guidance of expert faculty, our students gained valuable hands-on experience in community-based healthcare.
The camp reminded us that healthcare is not only about treatment – it is also about prevention, awareness, empathy, and reaching people where they are.
