Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences Billion Hearts Beating Foundation Apollo Foundation 27-06-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with the Billion Hearts Beating Foundation (BHB), organized an outreach health camp to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness among local residents. The initiative focused on providing free health screening for the early identification of common health concerns and encouraging healthy lifestyle practices and disease prevention. The camp also aimed to facilitate timely referral for further medical evaluation wherever required while providing Allied Health Sciences students with valuable hands-on community exposure under faculty supervision.
The camp commenced with participant registration and demographic data collection, followed by systematic health screening, including Electrocardiogram (ECG) recording and vision screening. Participants requiring further medical evaluation or specialized consultation were identified and guided towards appropriate healthcare facilities for follow-up care. The programme was conducted successfully with active participation from faculty members, student volunteers, club authorities, and collaborating organizations. The beneficiaries actively participated in and appreciated the initiative, which also strengthened students’ practical skills and understanding of community-based healthcare.
