The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with the Billion Hearts Beating Foundation, successfully organized a Community General Health & Eye Screening Camp on 2 August 2026 at 4 No. Ward, Bijpur Constituency, Kachrapara, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

The camp provided accessible healthcare services to the local community, including comprehensive eye screening and ECG support. Participants received essential health assessments, expert guidance, and referrals wherever required, promoting early detection and preventive healthcare practices.

The programme strengthened students’ practical skills, professional confidence, and understanding of patient-centred care while contributing to community well-being.

The initiative aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education, reflecting Brainware University’s commitment to combining experiential learning with meaningful community healthcare outreach.
