Free Eye Screening Camp Allied Health Sciences The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Lion’s Club of Calcutta Circular 28.06.2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Brainware University, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Lions Club, and C2C, successfully organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp at Park Circus on June 28, 2026. The community outreach initiative aimed to promote eye health awareness and improve access to preventive vision care services for the local community.
The camp provided comprehensive vision screening to facilitate the early detection of common ocular conditions and encourage timely medical consultation. Students actively assisted healthcare professionals with patient registration, vision screening procedures, community interaction, and health awareness activities, gaining valuable hands-on clinical exposure while strengthening their commitment to patient-centered care and community service.
