Through the Indian Red Cross Society – Brainware University Healthcare & Skilling Initiative, the Department of Allied Health Sciences recently conducted an Eye Screening Camp & Mental Health Awareness Drive at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School, Barasat, serving 55+ beneficiaries with care, compassion, and awareness.
But this initiative was more than just a healthcare camp. For our Allied Health Sciences students, it became a powerful opportunity for hands-on practical exposure — where textbook knowledge transformed into real-world experience, patient interaction, and a deeper understanding of community healthcare.
