Free Eye Screening Camp and Mental Health Awareness Allied Health Sciences 27.06.2026
The outreach camp was organized to promote preventive healthcare among school students through free eye screening and early identification of common vision-related problems. The programme also aimed to create awareness regarding healthy lifestyle practices, disease prevention, vision care, and mental well-being. It encouraged timely medical referral wherever required and provided Allied Health Sciences students with valuable hands-on community exposure under faculty supervision.
The camp was conducted successfully with active participation from faculty members, student volunteers, school authorities, and collaborating organizations. The beneficiaries actively participated throughout the programme and appreciated the healthcare services provided. The initiative enhanced awareness of eye health and mental well-being among school students while strengthening the practical, communication, and community outreach skills of the participating Allied Health Sciences students.
