Free Eye Screening Camp and Mental Health Awareness Allied Health Sciences 24.06.2026
The outreach camp was organized with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare among school students through free eye screening and early identification of common vision-related problems. The programme also focused on creating awareness about healthy lifestyle practices, disease prevention, vision care, and mental well-being. It encouraged students to seek timely medical evaluation whenever required and provided Allied Health Sciences students with valuable hands-on community exposure under faculty supervision.
The camp was conducted successfully with active participation from faculty members, student volunteers, school authorities, and collaborating organizations. The beneficiaries responded positively and participated enthusiastically throughout the programme. The initiative contributed to greater awareness of eye health and mental well-being among school students while providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities for Allied Health Sciences students.
