The 7-Day Online Skill Development Programme (SDP) on “Familiarity with Advanced Research Tools for Enhancing Students’ Journal Publication” was organised to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and effective research practices among students and budding researchers. The programme focused on the importance of advanced digital tools for literature management, data analysis, plagiarism checking, and manuscript preparation in enhancing the quality of academic publications. Through structured guidance from experienced academicians and research professionals, participants were introduced to practical approaches for navigating the various stages of academic research and publication.
The programme aimed to equip students and early-career researchers with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in using advanced research tools for literature review, reference management, plagiarism detection, data analysis, visualisation, and manuscript preparation. Expert-led sessions were designed to improve the quality, efficiency, and visibility of academic writing while fostering a research-oriented mindset.
