Drug Safety and ADR Reporting Awareness Program- An outreach & awareness programme Pharmaceutical Technology 31-01-2026
The awareness program was conducted under faculty supervision and coordinated by the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. Students actively participated in organizing awareness sessions, distributing informational materials, and counseling participants on drug safety. Interactive discussions were held to explain ADR identification and reporting procedures. Participants were guided on safe medication use and precautions to minimize drug-related risks. Educational leaflets and awareness materials were distributed among community members.
The outreach program was successful in educating participants about drug safety and ADR reporting practices. It enhanced awareness regarding safe medicine usage and highlighted the importance of reporting drug reactions for patient safety. Students gained valuable experience in community healthcare awareness activities. The event reinforced the important role of pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective medication use.
