The programme was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by familiarizing students with contemporary corporate practices, professional competencies, career opportunities, and workplace culture. The session was conducted by Mr. Souvik Dutta, CRM Consultant at Style Bazaar, who shared practical industry insights and professional experiences to help students understand the skills and mindset required to succeed in the modern business environment. The programme also emphasized communication, leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, adaptability, and continuous learning as essential components of career readiness.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by the faculty members of the Department of Management, followed by the introduction of the guest speaker. Mr. Souvik Dutta conducted an engaging and interactive session covering communication skills, professionalism, customer relationship management, digital competencies, teamwork, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning in today’s competitive job market. He highlighted the differences between classroom learning and industry expectations and emphasized the value of internships, professional certifications, networking, and practical exposure in enhancing employability. Real-life corporate experiences, case examples, and career guidance enabled the students to better connect their academic efforts with professional aspirations.
