Brainware University Mentors PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bamangachi Students with Innovation-driven Entrepreneurship
WHAT IF THE NEXT BIG IDEA IS ALREADY IN A CLASSROOM?
It started with a simple question at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bamangachi: “What can you create if you learn to look at problems differently?”
As part of the DICE Programme, Brainware University, as a mentor to PM SHRI KV Bamangachi, brought students into the world of innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
More than 200 students from Classes IX–XII stepped into a session where entrepreneurship was not just about starting a business – it was about spotting problems, imagining possibilities and turning ideas into solutions.
Dr. Sambit Datta introduced students to the fundamentals of innovation-driven entrepreneurship, while IIC Ambassador Ms. Piyali Khamkat brought design thinking to life through relatable success stories and real-world examples.
And then came the most exciting part—the questions.
Students challenged ideas, shared their thoughts and explored how everyday problems could become opportunities for innovation. The interactive Q&A turned the classroom into a space buzzing with curiosity, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
Students who came up with insightful answers were recognised with tokens of appreciation, celebrating not just the answers—but the courage to think differently.
And this journey doesn’t end here!
50 selected students will soon step beyond the classroom and visit the Innovation Hub at Brainware University where ideas meet technology, mentorship and real-world possibilities.
Because when young minds are encouraged to ask “Why not?”, innovation gets its first spark.
