The Institute of Nursing, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, organized the “BLS Foundation for Skills Students” programme on 16 June 2026. The initiative aimed to equip skill development students with essential Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
The programme included an emergency briefing, expert demonstrations, hands-on CPR practice, real-time skill correction, and an interactive Q&A session. Participants gained confidence in recognizing emergencies, performing basic life-saving measures, and seeking timely professional medical assistance.
The programme successfully promoted emergency preparedness and practical health education, aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
