Survey & Presentation Competition on Contemporary Issues Commerce IQAC 30-09-2026

The Department of Commerce, Brainware University, organised “Beyond the Classroom 2026 – From Field Survey to Findings: A Student Field Survey & Presentation Competition on Contemporary Issues” on 30 September 2026 at the Seminar Hall, Prafulla Bhavan (Building III-405). The programme provided B.Com students with practical exposure to field surveys, data collection, research methodology, and presentation of findings. Participants presented their selected research topics, survey objectives, methodologies, observations, data analysis, and key findings. Interactive question-and-answer sessions and jury feedback encouraged students to explain their research approaches and strengthen their analytical and presentation skills.

The competition enabled students to connect classroom learning with real-world issues through systematic research and evidence-based analysis. It enhanced their research aptitude, critical thinking, data interpretation, and communication skills while encouraging informed problem-solving. The initiative supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential and research-based learning and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by promoting analytical innovation and evidence-based approaches to contemporary challenges.
