BASIC LIFE SUPPORT BLUE PRINT Institute of Nursing Indian Red Cross Society 16.06.2026
The Institute of Nursing, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, organized “Basic Life Support Blueprint” on 16 June 2026 to provide skill development students with essential knowledge of life-saving techniques and emergency response.
The programme included expert briefings, step-by-step demonstrations, hands-on practice, and interactive discussions covering emergency assessment, hands-only chest compressions, safe bystander intervention, and the importance of timely activation of professional medical assistance.
The initiative successfully enhanced participants’ confidence and preparedness to respond appropriately during cardiac and respiratory emergencies. It promoted practical health awareness and lifelong emergency-response skills, aligning with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
