The AHS-BBT Library organized a faculty orientation programme to familiarize participants with the wide range of library resources, digital services, and research support facilities available to them. The session aimed to enhance awareness of modern library tools and encourage the effective use of academic resources for teaching, learning, and research.
Participants were introduced to Web OPAC, e-books, e-journals, online databases, NDLI, DELNET, remote access facilities, institutional repositories, and open-access resources. The programme also demonstrated how these services can support academic activities and improve access to quality research materials.
The orientation successfully enhanced faculty members’ understanding of the library’s digital ecosystem and encouraged greater utilization of its resources. It also strengthened collaboration between the library and faculty, supporting a more resource-rich environment for teaching, learning, and research.
