A Seminar on – “Cyber Resilience 360° An Integrated Approach to Industry Challenges, Academic Perspectives and Future Directions” Cyber Science & Technology 1-10-2026
What if staying secure isn’t about stopping every threat but being ready for whatever comes next?
The digital world is evolving at unprecedented speed, and with it comes a new generation of cyber challenges. In this constantly shifting landscape, cybersecurity is no longer just about protection – it is about building the resilience to anticipate, withstand, respond and recover.
Bringing together industry expertise, academic perspectives and future-focused thinking, the Department of Cyber Science & Technology, organised a seminar on ‘Cyber Resilience 360°: An Integrated Approach to Industry Challenges, Academic Perspectives and Future Directions.”’Adding industry depth to the conversation was Avijit Patra, Director, PwC Cyber Security Department and Academic Advisor to the Department of Cyber Science & Technology, who shared valuable insights into the evolving realities of cybersecurity and the skills, strategies and perspectives required to navigate its future.
For Cyber Security students, the session was an opportunity to step beyond textbooks and explore how professionals approach emerging threats, digital vulnerabilities, cyber defence and organisational resilience in an increasingly connected world.
Because cybersecurity is no longer about simply asking, ‘How do we stop the threat?’ It is about asking, ‘How prepared are we for what comes next?’
Cyber Resilience 360° where threats become questions, knowledge becomes strategy, and tomorrow’s cyber defenders learn to stay one step ahead.
