Our budding legal minds from Brainware University, accompanied by a faculty mentor, recently visited the Lok Adalat at Barasat District Court for an insightful experience into alternative dispute resolution!
21 benches, countless cases:
From motor vehicle claims to family disputes, land acquisition to bank pre-litigation matters, the students observed how the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) efficiently resolves disputes outside traditional courts.
This hands-on experience gave our students a front-row seat to the informal yet impactful processes of the Lok Adalat system, equipping them with knowledge they can apply in their future legal careers.
