Physiotherapy Outreach Camp at Kolkata Full Marathon 2025
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, participated as the Physiotherapy Recovery Partner in collaboration with Alexa Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. at the Kolkata Full Marathon 2025, held on 23rd November 2025 at Godrej Waterside, Kolkata.
A team of 10 physiotherapy students, guided by Dr. Shaswat Kumar Chandan (PT), provided on-site physiotherapy care to around 500 runners, offering injury management, stretching, and recovery support. The initiative helped promote awareness about physiotherapy’s role in sports rehabilitation while giving students valuable hands-on experience in managing athletic recovery.
