BPT Students Serve as Official Recovery Team at JBG Kolkata Marathon 2025
Bachelor of Physiotherapy students from the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, in collaboration with Alexa Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd., proudly participated in the JBG Kolkata Marathon on 30 November 2025 at Red Road, Maidan, Kolkata, from 5 a.m. onwards.
Serving as the official Recovery Team, our students provided sports physiotherapy care, cooldown therapy, and injury-prevention support to runners throughout the event. Their dedicated service ensured that participants could recover safely and effectively after the race.
This collaboration marks a proud achievement for the department and offered an invaluable hands-on learning experience for our aspiring physiotherapists — bridging academic knowledge with real-world sports healthcare practice.
