Psychological Detox: Managing Distress & Protecting Personal Boundaries Student Service Centre 10-03-2026

Some conversations stay with you long after the room falls silent

At the Student Service Centre, students gathered for a thoughtful and deeply relevant session titled ‘Psychological Detox: Managing Distress & Protecting Personal Boundaries.’

The speaker, Ms. Ipsita Banik, Clinical & Rehabilitation Psychologist (RCI Registered), guided students through an honest conversation about emotional well-being in today’s fast-paced world. From recognising distress to learning how to set healthy personal boundaries, the session encouraged everyone present to pause, reflect, and prioritise their inner peace.

Through real-life insights and practical perspectives, Ms. Banik reminded students that protecting one’s mental space is not selfish—it is essential.

Sometimes, growth begins with a simple step: learning to protect your peace.
