PhysioCare: Free Physiotherapy Camp along with Physiotherapy Support at Football Tournament Allied Health Sciences 11-03-2026 & 12-03-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences successfully organized “PhysioCare: Free Physiotherapy Camp along with Physiotherapy Support at Football Tournament” on 11th and 12th March 2026 at Senpukur Association Club, Dakshin Para Road, Senpukur, Barasat, starting from 10:00 AM onwards. The initiative was conducted with the aim of promoting community health, injury prevention, and the importance of physiotherapy in sports and daily life.
Two students of Physiotherapy actively participated in the camp, providing valuable physiotherapy services and on-field support to football players and members of the local community. The camp focused on assessment and management of common musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, muscle strains, sprains, and post-exercise fatigue. Participants also received guidance on proper warm-up techniques, stretching exercises, posture correction, and injury prevention strategies to enhance performance and reduce the risk of sports-related injuries.
During the football tournament, the physiotherapy team provided immediate on-field assistance and rehabilitation support to players, ensuring their safety and optimal physical performance throughout the matches. The students demonstrated excellent teamwork, professional skills, and dedication while interacting with players and community members.
