Welcome to the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2024
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a premier nationwide initiative designed to engage students in solving some of the most pressing challenges faced in everyday life. Prof. (Dr.) Angsuman Sarkar, Professor, Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Kalyani Government Engineering College, was our special guest in our Internal Hackathon for SIH, 2024.
Emphasising on the role of Hackathon, he stressed the importance to shorten the gap between the theoretical concepts and Practical application and learn to think out of the box. The hackathon consists of groups of students, who will be given a problem statement, they will have to present their solutions. What’s more interesting? These problem statements can range from Smart Innovation to Technological ideas in Hospitality!
