
Health Guard: Free Eye Medical Camp Allied Health Sciences with Calcutta Circular Lions Club 22-02-2026
Health Guard: Free Medical Camp was successfully conducted on 22nd February 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Belur Math, organized by the Department of Allied Health Sciences (AHS), Brainware University (BWU) in collaboration with the Lions Club of Calcutta Circular. The day-long medical camp was designed to provide accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to the community, emphasizing preventive care, early detection, and timely medical consultation. Free health screenings, basic diagnostic assessments, and professional guidance were offered to beneficiaries, ensuring that essential healthcare reached those in need. The camp actively involved students from the BPA (Bachelor of Physician Assistant), OTT (Operation Theatre Technology), and CCT (Critical Care Technology) programs, who participated under expert supervision, gaining valuable hands-on clinical exposure and community engagement experience. The initiative not only strengthened healthcare outreach but also fostered experiential learning and skill development among students. By delivering quality healthcare services and promoting practical education, the program significantly contributed to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4 – Quality Education, reinforcing the commitment to building healthier communities while nurturing competent future healthcare professionals.
