Eye Health Awareness: Vision Screening Camp

The Department of Allied Health Sciences have conducted one vision screening camp at Prithiba Kumar Gokul Chandra Memorial High School, Vill Po-Prithiba; Dist -24 Parganas (N, Hades Bele, West Bengal 743704 on 7th February 2025 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Under the guidance of Ms. Prarthana Bordoloi, the students of Bachelor of Optometry, provided services in detecting vision issues early along with essential guidance by advocating for better eye health of the students and teachers of the school. This outreach camp was of huge success with a patient count of 86 where the future optometrists are not just learning about eye care; they’re actively making a difference. Their efforts ensure that everyone, regardless of age or background, has access to quality eye care and the opportunity to see the world clearly.
