The Institute of Nursing and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Brainware University organised an insightful seminar on ‘Benchmarking Health Care: Accreditation Standards for Growth’. Dr. Poonam Joshi, Professor cum Principal, AIIMS Kalyani, delivered an engaging session on the Accreditation process for educational institutions, emphasising nursing programmes. She discussed the Indian Nursing Council (INC) accreditation of Brainware University, NABH accreditation for hospitals, and the essential steps of Accreditation, Licensing, and Certification. Dr. Joshi also stressed the importance of renewing nurses’ licenses every five years for professional growth and credibility!
