The Department of Cyber Science & Technology, Brainware University, organized a Seminar on Alumni Talk Series – Panel Discussion on Recent Cyber Threats on 8th November 2025 at the Seminar Hall, UB-II (Room No. 007). The event, coordinated by Mr. Subhankar Dhar and supported by Mr. Arnab Chakraborty, witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 173 students and faculty members.
The session featured distinguished alumni including Mr. Satadeep Majumder (IT Executive, BMC Advisor), Mr. Rudraksha Routh Roy (IT Security Analyst, IEMA Research & Development Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Sayan Das (Customer Support Executive, Tech Ridge), Mr. Amit Roy (System Administrator, Sentient Geeks Software and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.), and Ms. Rina Saha (Network Security Analyst, MOL Information Technology India Pvt. Ltd.).
The panelists shared valuable insights on emerging cyber threats, industry expectations, and evolving cybersecurity trends. Through engaging discussions and an interactive Q&A session, students gained practical knowledge of real-world cyber challenges, professional roles, and essential skills required in the cybersecurity domain.
