MISSION AI BENGAL: AI Training Programme for Officials at Directorate of Technical Education, Government of West Bengal

WHAT IF AI COULD MAKE GOVERNANCE SMARTER, FASTER AND MORE FUTURE-READY? THE FUTURE IS ALREADY TAKING SHAPE!

Imagine a world where technology empowers public officials to work smarter, streamline processes and explore new possibilities in administration. At Brainware University, this vision is moving from possibility to practice!

As part of Mission AI Bengal, Brainware University conducted a specialised AI training programme for 25+ officials at the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of West Bengal, bringing Artificial Intelligence closer to the people shaping public administration.

The programme brought together leadership, expertise and hands-on learning. Dr. Anindita Ganguly, Director, Directorate of Technical Education (West Bengal), attended the training alongside other officials, with Dr. Swaraj Kumar Sarkar, Registrar, Brainware University, also present.

Leading the training, Debashish Sengupta, Executive Director – AI & Industry Partnerships, Brainware University, introduced the officials to the potential of AI in modern governance, institutional workflows and creative applications.

From understanding AI’s practical possibilities to exploring its creative potential, the sessions highlighted a powerful idea: AI is not just about the technology of tomorrow. It’s about creating better possibilities for today.

And this is only the beginning!

Through Mission AI Bengal, Brainware University is committed to advancing AI awareness, building future-ready skills and encouraging the meaningful adoption of emerging technologies across government and public-sector institutions.

Because when knowledge meets innovation, governance can move forward with greater possibilities.
