Industrial Visit to JIMS Hospital, Sodepur Hospital Management 14-10-2026
The Department of Hospital Management, Brainware University, organised an industry visit to JIMS Hospital, Sodepur, on 14 October 2026 for the BBAHM 2026 Batch – First Year students. The visit provided practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, departmental functions, patient-care services, and administrative operations. Students observed hospital workflows, explored the coordination between different departments, and interacted with hospital personnel to understand day-to-day management practices.
The visit helped students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world healthcare operations. It enhanced their understanding of teamwork, communication, patient-centred care, and hospital service management, while strengthening their professional knowledge and career orientation. The initiative supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential learning and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by familiarising students with healthcare infrastructure and operational practices.
