Awareness Programme on Library Resources and E-Resources

Awareness Programme on Library Resources and E-Resources Nursing Library 09-10-2026

The Nursing Library of Brainware University organised an Awareness Programme on Library Resources and E-Resources on 9 October 2026 for first-year B.Sc. Nursing students. Coordinated by Ms. Chaiti Ghosh, the programme aimed to familiarise students with the university’s physical library facilities, print resources, e-journal databases, and digital learning platforms. Conducted at the Nursing Library, Vivekananda Bhavan (UB-IX, Room No. 002), the session engaged 32 students in exploring academic resources and understanding their role in effective learning, research, and evidence-based nursing practice.

The programme enhanced students’ awareness of library facilities and strengthened their understanding of how to access and utilise physical and digital academic materials effectively. It encouraged the development of digital literacy, independent learning, and research skills essential for academic success and professional growth in healthcare. The initiative aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting equitable access to knowledge, strengthening digital skills, and supporting continuous learning.
