2-Day Orientation Programme on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Smart Governance’ for government officials: An initiative by Brainware University in collaboration with NIT Durgapur
The answer begins with empowering the people who make public service happen every day.
As part of MISSION AI BENGAL, an initiative by Brainware University in collaboration with NIT Durgapur, Brainware University organised a 2-Day Orientation Programme on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Smart Governance’ for government officials.
The programme opened a new conversation around AI – not just as a technology of the future, but as a practical tool for the workplace today.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Dr. Sankar Gangopadhyay highlighted the possibilities of embracing AI for smarter governance.
And then came the learning by doing.
85+ government officials from various departments were trained by the Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Cell (AIRDC) at Brainware University. From AI awareness to hands-on applications, participants explored tools that can help simplify everyday tasks, improve efficiency and support better decision-making.
Because smart governance isn’t just about adopting new technology.
It is about empowering people to use technology better.
With Mission AI Bengal, Brainware University is taking another step towards building an AI-ready governance ecosystem—where knowledge meets application and innovation meets public service.
