Hospital Visit at Fortis Healthcare Limited (Anandapur) Hospital Management 12-09-2026
The Department of Hospital Management organised an Industry Visit to Fortis Healthcare Limited, Anandapur on 12 September 2026 for the MBAHM 1st Year students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to hospital infrastructure, healthcare operations, patient-care services, and administrative functions while bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world hospital practices. Students were introduced to various hospital departments and service areas, observed patient-care processes and interdepartmental coordination, and interacted with hospital personnel to understand day-to-day management practices.
The visit provided students with valuable firsthand exposure to hospital functioning and enabled them to connect classroom concepts with practical healthcare management practices. It enhanced their understanding of hospital operations, communication, teamwork, and patient-centred care while contributing to experiential learning and professional development. The programme supported SDG 4 (Quality Education) through practical learning and promoted awareness of SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) in the context of healthcare infrastructure and operations.
