Azaadi Ke Rang: Independence Day Celebration Nursing 14.08.2026
The Institute of Nursing, Brainware University, organised “Azaadi Ke Rang: Independence Day Celebration”, a Wall Magazine Publication activity, on 14 August 2026 at Vivekananda Bhavan to encourage students to express their creativity, patriotism, and perspectives on India’s Independence. The activity involved 111 students from B.Sc. Nursing II Semester, GNM 1st Year, and GNM 2nd Year, along with seven faculty members. Students collaboratively designed and prepared a wall magazine featuring patriotic artwork, poems, inspirational quotes, write-ups, and illustrations highlighting India’s freedom struggle, national unity, and cultural diversity. The initiative provided an inclusive platform for students to showcase their talents while developing creativity, teamwork, communication, and presentation skills. Aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), the activity promoted holistic learning, equal participation, respect for diversity, and a sense of belonging. Overall, the celebration successfully combined creativity, learning, and patriotism while encouraging students to reflect on the values of freedom, unity, and responsible citizenship.
