Alumni Talk: From Classrooms to Career Media Science and Journalism 30.10.2025
The Department of Media Science and Journalism organised an Alumni Talk: “From Classrooms to Career” on 30th October 2025 to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practices in the media industry. The session provided first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students with valuable insights into current media trends, newsroom practices, content creation, digital journalism, and the importance of adaptability in a changing media landscape. The alumni speaker shared personal career experiences, challenges, and opportunities in the profession, while students actively participated in an interactive discussion on career building, internships, and skill development. The session enriched students’ understanding of career prospects in media and journalism while strengthening alumni–student engagement and providing opportunities for continued mentorship and professional guidance.
