Poster-Making activity and Online Slogan-Writing Competition on
‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat’, followed by the Awareness Rally in campus BWU Literary Club 06-07-2026
The BWU Literary Club successfully organised a Poster-Making Activity and Online Slogan-Writing Competition on the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat” on 6th and 7th August 2026, followed by an awareness rally on campus. The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of addiction on physical and mental well-being, personal development, and career prospects, while encouraging them to make responsible and healthy choices. As part of the programme, students prepared posters at home highlighting the importance of an addiction-free youth and submitted them to the Club. A total of 36 students participated in the Online Slogan-Writing Competition, presenting meaningful and insightful slogans on the theme, while three students were awarded prizes for their creative efforts. On 7th August, an awareness rally was conducted across the campus, with 55 students from the Literary Club, along with several NSS volunteers, participating with posters to spread the message of Nasha Mukti among the university community. The event provided students with an opportunity to express their perspectives on the adverse impact of addiction on life, health, education, and career, while fostering greater awareness, social responsibility, and a commitment to a healthier lifestyle. The enthusiastic participation of the students reflected their willingness to promote an addiction-free society and contribute towards the vision of a healthier and more progressive nation.
