Free Health Checkup Camp Allied Health Sciences Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Lions Club of Calcutta Circular 09.08.2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences, Brainware University, organized a Free Health Check-up Camp in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and Lions Club of Calcutta Circular on 9 August 2026 at Belgharia. The camp focused on preventive healthcare and early detection, offering eye screening, blood pressure check-ups, and ECG services to the local community.
Students from the Optometry and Bachelor of Physician Assistant (BPA) programmes actively participated in the camp, gaining valuable hands-on exposure to community-based healthcare practices. The initiative promoted regular health screening, early detection, and accessible preventive healthcare while strengthening students’ practical skills and commitment to community service.
