Lecture Series 5 Department of Agriculture 25-07-2026
The Department of Agriculture, Brainware University, organized Lecture Series 5 as a co-curricular activity for B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture students, featuring an expert session by Prof. (Dr.) Pintoo Bandopadhyay, Professor & Head, Department of Agronomy, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur. The session focused on modern agricultural technologies, sustainable farming, conservation agriculture, climate-resilient practices, and agricultural extension.
Through the expert lecture and interactive discussions, students gained practical insights into research-based agricultural solutions, efficient resource utilization, and sustainable crop production. The programme successfully connected classroom learning with real-world agricultural practices while enhancing students’ technical knowledge, professional competencies, and awareness of sustainable agriculture.
