The Department of Agriculture, Brainware University, organized a four-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Emerging Technologies and Recent Advances in Biological Sciences: Research, Sustainability, Scientific Communication” from 30th June to 3rd July 2026. The programme focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Geospatial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Multi-Omics, sustainable resource management, and scientific communication.
The FDP featured expert-led sessions by academicians, scientists, researchers, and industry professionals, covering sustainable agriculture, biotechnology, AI-driven research, circular bioeconomy, research innovation, scientific writing, publication strategies, and industry applications. The interactive sessions encouraged interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and research collaboration.
The programme successfully enhanced participants’ research knowledge, scientific communication skills, and understanding of emerging technologies and sustainable practices. It also encouraged technology-driven innovation and interdisciplinary approaches to addressing contemporary challenges in agriculture and biological sciences.
