Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Business Analytics, Data Visualisation Programming Using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Python Management 05-06-2026 to 17-06-2026
The Department of Management, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a 13-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Business Analytics, Data Visualisation Programming Using Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Python from 5th June to 17th June 2026 at Lab Room No. 501, UB-VI. Coordinated by Mr. Rupam Dhani with the support of Dr. Anik Ghosh, the programme aimed to enhance the analytical and digital competencies of faculty members through hands-on training in contemporary business analytics tools.
The FDP featured expert lectures, live demonstrations, practical laboratory sessions, and case-based learning activities covering advanced Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, and Python for data analysis, visualization, dashboard creation, and predictive analytics. Participants worked with real-world datasets, gaining practical experience in data cleaning, transformation, and business intelligence while exploring the application of analytics in teaching, research, and institutional decision-making.
The programme witnessed active participation from faculty members across Brainware University and successfully strengthened their ability to integrate data-driven approaches into academic and professional practices. The FDP concluded with participants acquiring valuable industry-relevant skills that will enhance teaching effectiveness, research quality, and innovation, reaffirming the Department of Management’s commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in management education.
