Awareness and Orientation Programme on Library Resources and E-Resources Institute of Nursing Library 24-06-2026
The Institute of Nursing Library, in collaboration with the Central Library at Brainware University, organized an Awareness and Orientation Programme on Library Resources and E-Resources for faculty members of the Institute of Nursing. The programme aimed to enhance awareness of the library’s collections, digital resources, and services that support teaching, learning, and research.
The session featured demonstrations on Web OPAC, e-books, e-journals, online databases, NDLI, DELNET, institutional repositories, and remote access facilities, enabling participants to explore the library’s digital ecosystem. Interactive discussions provided faculty members with practical guidance on accessing academic resources and utilizing library services effectively for research and professional development.
The programme successfully strengthened faculty members’ understanding of the library’s resources and encouraged greater use of both physical and digital information services. By promoting information literacy and resource accessibility, the initiative reinforced Brainware University’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and lifelong learning.
