Free Health Check-up Camp Allied Health Sciences The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) 07-07-2026
The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Brainware University, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), successfully organized a Free Health Check-up Camp at Rashbehari Girls School, Barasat, on July 7, 2026. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare, encourage regular health check-ups, and raise awareness about the early detection of common health conditions within the community.
The camp provided essential health screening services while offering students of the Department of Allied Health Sciences valuable hands-on clinical exposure. Under the guidance of faculty members and healthcare professionals, students actively assisted with health screening procedures, recording health parameters, guiding beneficiaries, and ensuring the smooth coordination of the programme. Their dedication and professionalism reflected the department’s commitment to experiential learning and community service.
Aligned with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education), the initiative successfully combined healthcare outreach with practical learning, reinforcing Brainware University’s commitment to accessible healthcare, student development, and social responsibility.
