Business Hackathon – Business Pitch & Problem Solving through AI – Business Model Canvas Management Institution’s Innovation Council 10-04-2026
The Department of Management, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized “Business Hackathon – Business Pitch & Problem Solving through AI – Business Model Canvas” on April 10, 2026. The event encouraged students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and AI-driven problem-solving through a hands-on learning experience.
Guided by Ashwin R. Pal, Data Scientist at IBM, participants worked in teams to identify real-world business challenges and develop innovative solutions using the Business Model Canvas framework. Students structured their ideas, created business pitches, and presented their concepts, gaining practical exposure to strategic planning, problem-solving, and technology-enabled entrepreneurship.
The hackathon provided an engaging platform for experiential learning, enhancing students’ creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and presentation skills while inspiring them to transform innovative ideas into viable business opportunities.
