Inauguration programme of Mononiketan Brainware University 11-04-2026

Brainware University marked a significant step towards promoting mental health awareness and emotional well-being with the inauguration of the Mononiketan Mental Health Wellness Centre. The initiative aims to create a supportive and inclusive academic environment by providing students, faculty, and staff with access to professional counselling and mental wellness services.

The inauguration programme featured a plant watering ceremony, felicitation of distinguished guests, an address by the Hon’ble Chancellor, expert talks by Dr. Rima Mukherjee and Dr. Susmita Halder, and an interactive panel discussion with mental health professionals including Dr. Supartha Barua, Dr. Sritama Ghosh, and Dr. Surabhi Ghosh. The sessions focused on mental health awareness, coping strategies, early intervention, and the importance of seeking professional support.

The launch of the centre reflects Brainware University’s commitment to fostering a mentally healthy campus culture by encouraging open conversations around psychological well-being and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.
