RABI PRANAM Institute of Nursing 11.05.2026

The Institute of Nursing at Brainware University organized “Rabi Pranam”, a vibrant celebration of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti on May 11, 2026, bringing together B.Sc. and GNM Nursing students from all existing batches for an enriching cultural afternoon. The event paid heartfelt tribute to the literary icon through a series of performances inspired by his timeless creations, beautifully reflecting the richness of Bengali culture and tradition.

The celebration featured an engaging lineup of activities, including an inaugural session, opening dance, group song, solo dance performances, song renditions, and a captivating dance drama, all of which highlighted the creativity and artistic talents of the students. A feedback session and vote of thanks concluded the programme on a meaningful note, fostering a spirit of appreciation, teamwork, and institutional bonding among students and faculty members.

Beyond cultural celebration, “Rabi Pranam” served as a platform to connect Tagore’s philosophies of humanism, empathy, and universal harmony with the core values of nursing care. The event aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting emotional well-being, holistic learning, cultural literacy, and creative expression. Through this initiative, the Institute of Nursing successfully celebrated Bengal’s artistic heritage while nurturing socially conscious and emotionally resilient future healthcare professionals.
