The seminar “AI in Food and Nutrition: Shaping the Future” was successfully organized as an academic enrichment session for students of Food, Nutrition & Dietetics to explore the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence in food science and nutrition. The programme highlighted the role of AI in transforming modern nutrition practices, food safety, quality assessment, personalized nutrition, and sustainable food systems, effectively bridging traditional nutritional sciences with emerging digital innovations. The session featured an expert lecture by Dr. Sunanda Biswas, Associate Professor, APC College, who shared valuable insights into AI applications in academic, research, clinical, and industrial nutrition settings. Through informative discussions and academic interaction, participants gained deeper awareness of technological advancements in nutrition and were encouraged to stay aligned with evolving industry trends, innovation, and sustainable practices in the field.
