 The programme featured insightful sessions delivered by eminent speakers, including Dr. Sarfaraz Ahmed Khan, Professor at WBNUJS; Dr. C. Rajesh, Professor and Dean, School of Biotechnology and Biosciences, Brainware University; and Dr. Ankit Srivastava, Associate Professor at WBNUJS. Each speaker addressed critical aspects of the theme, highlighting the intersection of law, technology, and forensic science. The discussions focused on contemporary issues such as the reliability of AI-driven forensic tools, challenges in evidence enforcement, and the protection of intellectual innovations in a rapidly evolving digital environment. Students actively engaged in the sessions, raising questions and participating in discussions. The event witnessed the presence of 118 students and 18 faculty members, contributing to a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment.


The celebration of World Intellectual Property Rights Day proved to be an enriching and thought-provoking event. It successfully highlighted the growing importance of integrating legal frameworks with technological advancements in forensic science and intellectual property protection. The insightful deliberations by the speakers enhanced the understanding of students and encouraged them to critically engage with contemporary legal challenges. The event not only fulfilled its academic objectives but also reinforced the commitment of the Department of Law towards promoting quality education and innovation-driven legal awareness.
