One-Day Industrial Exposure Program at MSME Tool Room Electrical Engineering 13-04-2026
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Brainware University, successfully organized an Industrial Learning Experience Visit to the MSME Tool Room and Training Centre, Bon Hooghly Industrial Area, Kolkata, to provide students with practical exposure to industrial tools, manufacturing technologies, and automation systems.
During the visit, students explored key sections including CNC machining, tool design, production units, precision measuring instruments, quality control laboratories, and electrical automation systems. Industry experts also demonstrated advanced machinery and shared insights into industrial workflows, safety protocols, maintenance practices, and current manufacturing technologies.
The visit enabled students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial applications while gaining a deeper understanding of machine control, automation, quality standards, and the role of electrical engineers in industrial settings. Interactive sessions with technical professionals also offered valuable career guidance and industry exposure.
